Jack’s proximity to these crimes show that he goes to a new area to scout out his next place where we see at least one murder before he moves there, murders behind him where he has been, and a murder on his exit to the new place. This pattern shows to be 10-11 month duration, then the serial killer is done, and Jack is gone. The abductions and dumps are in a 2 hour radius of where Jack is.
